We've been in our new house for 2 weeks now. WHEW!!! We're getting there. We have a lot of remodeling that we'll be doing, just as soon as we get our reimbursement money from our move. Here is a slideshow of our "before" pictures. :-)

We are planning to change:

  • floors - get rid of the wood and carpet on the main level and bedroom level and put down a "grainy," wood-looking laminate
  • kitchen - redo the whole thing - raise the ceiling (it is lowered), put in all new cabinets and countertops, add an island, put in a 5-burner gas cooktop, put in a double wall oven
  • paint - all of it LOL
  • windows - get rid of the single-pane aluminum ones that are in there and put in some DECENT ones!
  • bathrooms - redo the kids' bath and the half bath, possibly change the master bath/dressing area into a large bathroom with a garden tub

If only I knew what I was doing.....LOLOL.
