If a tree falls, does it make a sound?
The answer is yes.
Yesterday my dh was standing out by our side gate. He heard a little "pop" and thought, "What in the world was that?" And then he saw our next-door neighbor's very tall, but dead, pine tree falling.
Check out how close it came to the other neighbor's truck. 
That neighbor's 16yo looked like this: as he was inspecting the truck afterward. I don't blame him one bit!
I thought I was just being nosy taking these pictures. 
As it turns out, our next-door neighbor didn't get pictures in time, so I guess my nosiness will actually help them some.
