Sweet Baby Rachel was born Thursday, June 14 at 12:11 p.m. She was my biggest baby so far at 8 lbs. 13 oz. (#2 supposedly weighed 8#15, but I don't think the scale was accurate. We know this scale was. ;-) ) She was 20.5" long and had a 14.5" head. (That's not the biggest head I've delivered, but it's the biggest girl head I have. ;-) )

Everything went really well, and we were home a little over 24 hours later. My other 5 were making me wish I was still in the hospital though - WHEW are they HOVERING over the baby!!!! :roll:

She is nursing beautifully and already has the lovely yellow, seedy poop I love to see, at only 3 days of age. :-)

I'm feeling really good - no stitches necessary even though she came out with her hand up by her face. :shock: Since I am feeling so good I will really have to watch myself. I tend to try to get back into the swing of things too soon, and I'm bound and determined to not do the same this time. It is very hard though because things have essentially fallen apart around the house, and it's driving me NUTSO. :razz:

I'm not sure how much I'll be able to update my blog. It's not like I've been doing all that great a job anyway lately. :( It seems that *if* I have something to say, I don't have any time to say it. But just in case, I won't shut it down or anything. I just apologize ahead of time for lack of content. :neutral:
