Feeling kinda poorly lately…
Very tired and nauseous. Been going on for 4.5 weeks now.

Psa 127:3-5
(3) Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.
(4) Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth.
(5) Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
I'm very pleased to announce that #6 is due to arrive somewhere around June 10, 2007.

I saw your comment at Crystal’s site. Congratulations!
Don’t fight the morning sickness. Just go throw up. Fighting it just made it worse for me. It was such a relief to let my body expel what was making it feel so horrible. Sorry, that wasn’t very encouraging, I bet.

Congratulations! I hope your 6th is as wonderful as mine.
Have you tried vitamin B6? That can help with the nausea.

Zofran!!! I like to think of it as a medicine straight from the hand of God.
No better reason in the world to puke your guts out. Congrats!

Congratulations! Oh yes, I remember those days, BLECH! With dd it was all day, every day, for the whole 9 month, with hospitalization 2 weeks before she was born. I got a reprieve with ds. None of that stuff. Guess every child is different. Praying that it passes soon for you!

I second Zofran. It is a pretty expensive med but it does help you keep the food down. I took it with my first.

Praise God there is no actual pukage. Just a nearly constant nausea.

The best thing for controlling nausea is little tiny meals frequently, grazing would be an accurate description. Milk Thistle supports the liver and helps the nausea. Ginger also helps. You can take capsules, eat ginger cookies(I’d get them from the health foods store so they would be more nutritious and less sugar)and ginger tea. If made with fresh ginger, it is much more potent and helpful. Peach leaf is supposed to be very effective against nausea. You can order it from an herb store. Do a search for Mountain Rose Herbs in Oregon. They are reasonable and great quality. The one thing I wouldn’t do would be to take a drug. I took Bendectin with my daughter, Joelle, and she was born with a club foot. I have since heard that it was discontinued and one of the reasons was limb deformities. Drugs are not truly tested before prescribed and to take one while a baby is forming in the womb is not a good idea.
What I want to say more than anything is a great big “CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”
Love and shalom,
Serena
