I knew she was a talker…
but this is ridiculous!
S just brought me a plate of pretend food. (She just turned 2 about 2 weeks ago.) She said, "I have food."
I repeated, "You have food?"
She replied, "Actually [ACTUALLY??????], it's fried chicken."
Where I spare my poor husband from listening to my rantings, where I share what is on my heart, where I share about my family, where I share about my God.

“Actually” - that’s adorable!

LOL! That reminds me of my now almost 11 yod. When she began using that word, probably around 3, it sounds like “acfually”, with an emphasis on the F.
It was her intro to every conversation.
“Welll, acFually . . . ”
We tend to keep the funny pronounciations my children came up with so even now we are known to say, “welllll acfually . . . ” to each other.

When Ani was that age she used to say actually all the time. I say it so much it’s no wonder she picked it up. Cracked me up every time.

Adam did things like that more than a few times when he was 2. Wish I could remember some of them right now, but it’s late and my brain is scrambled.
