Name something someone has done lately that impressed you.
It just occurred. Dh turned on the TV, and one of the kids' math classes was recording. (We use BJU HomeSat for some classes.) S jumped out of my lap, ran closer to the TV, and started clapping. That is what she does during the opening music for the classes, and evidently she recognized that it was school stuff on TV. This impressed me because her 1st birthday is Tuesday.

I have to admit that it took me nearly the entire first movie to figure out just what was going on. I kept thinking, what is the big deal about this RING????? LOL!

As a die-hard Tolkien fan, the movies failed to do justice to the books. The portrayal of the One Ring was one area where they did a very poor job.

Actually, we named our cat that almost 4 years ago. Also , he had a brother that we named Samwise Gamgee, but he died the day after Thanksgiving last year - hit by a car we think - ugh - so sad).
