Looking for money?
This post of Perri's reminds me....
Go to the website of any state you've ever lived in, and find their "unclaimed property" section. Look for your name. You never know what you might find! I found over $700 waiting for me, from my employer that I worked for before my first child was born! Typically they aren't that high, but you never know!!!

Hey Keer,
Of course I’ll still be around. I wouldn’t miss it.
Your company is coming soon?

Oh my no Barbara!!! These are the official state websites - by law they have to provide them. This is done yourself - you don’t have to go through some middleman. Like I went to the Louisiana state website, clicked on their unclaimed property link, and did a search and lo and behold!!!!
If you do find one that charges money - RUN! LOL! But the legit ones through each state is a free search, nor will you have to pay any money to get your money. You will have to provide documentation to prove that you are the right person (like I had to send the state of Louisiana a copy of my driver’s license and a copy of something showing the address that I had when I was there), but you will not have to pay any money.

A got her first tooth at 6.5 months. And apparently hasn’t looked back since. LOL They have all come in quick and easy. It was nothing for her to be working on 2-3 at one time as a baby.

Oh it is LONG GONE. I found this money several years ago after watching some news show telling about unclaimed property. I was so excited!!!!! Typically it’s only $20 or so (stuff like utility company deposits or something like that), so this was quite a large amount!

Hmmmm. Is he still living? Then he’d probably have to claim it. If he’s not living you could probably call their office and see what you’d need to do. Most likely it would need to be handled by the executor of his will.
I don’t think they told me up front how much mine was either. I think mine just said something like “over $100″ or something like that.
