New pictures
Sorry I haven't been writing much lately. There just aren't enough hours in the day! My mornings are JAM-PACKED with school, and the rest of the day is spent catching up on the things I don't get to do during the morning. And now I'm getting started on a garden. And I'm wanting to have a garage sale. Am I insane???
Anyway, I wanted to share some new pictures I picked up the other day.
We've had some birthdays recently. First was G, who turned 8. Wah!!!!! Here is a picture of his cake. It reads "Happy 8th Birthday, G!" in Elvish. LOL!

Here is C, er, I mean, a black rider:

J's 3rd birthday was a couple weeks ago. I made him an Elmo cake. It turned out so well! Unfortunately the color in the picture ended up a bit funky, so his nose doesn't appear to be very orange in this picture. Argh!

Poor J had a fever today. When I put him to bed tonight (actually when I found him in bed - he put himself to bed!) his fever was at least 102.9 under the arm.
J VERY rarely gets sick, so this is so not like him at all! I'm praying he'll be better in the morning. Church is already out of the question since he ran fever today (boy I wish other parents would do the same!), but I don't like seeing my little guy sick!Wow – I have a following! Who knew?
ROFLOL! I've had 3 people comment now on "why haven't I blogged lately?" (or something of that nature). I feel so popular and loved! LOL!!!!!
Well, dh went out of town for a week, then he was home a week, and now he's out of town again (coming home tomorrow - woo hoo!). So I've been super busy! And I haven't had a whole lot to say. But the PRESSURE of writing something, just to please my fans!!!!! (Do you see my tongue firmly planted in my cheek???
) So here you go:Sunday morning we were on our way to church. One of the roads we take is on the edge of a rolling pastureland that is in the process of being built up by houses. There are a few bushes here and there, but it's mostly grass. C and G have decided that this part of land looks like a scene off of one of the Lord of the Rings movies, so the rest of the way to church C and L were pretending they were in LOTR. When we got to the road the church is on, C said, "We're almost to Rivendell." Then on the way back, he started playing again. Dh and I overheard him tell L, "I'm a hobbit. See my dirty feet?"
He keeps us in stitches with the funny stuff he says!!!
Who killed Terri Schiavo?
Awesome post at www.worldgonemadblog.blogspot.com:
Who killed Terri Schiavo?
"Not I," said her husband. "I was only carrying out her wishes."
"Not I," said her husband's lawyer. "I was just doing my job."
"Not I," said the probate judge. "I was just following the law."
"Not I," said the Governor. "I don't have the power to save her, even if I am the supreme executive of the State of Florida under the Florida Constitution, and expressly empowered to protect the rights of all Florida citizens. That's just not enough."
"Not I," said our nation's chief executive. "I've done everything I can do. Who do you think I am, the President of the United States or something?"
"Not I," said the Congress. "After all, didn't we come back from vacation to pass a law?"
"Not I," said the federal judges. "We know a hot potato when we see one. No mere Act of Congress can force us to take action!"
"Not I," said the pastors and religious leaders who passed by without a word.
"Not I," said the doctors, the sheriff's police, the nurses and the hospital attendants. "We were just following orders."
"Not I," said Terri Schiavo. "I wanted to live."
